DC Seminole Club Internship Fund Honors 1965 Founding
In 1965, 12 FSU alumni living and working in Washington, D.C., met in a Georgetown rowhouse with one goal—to build a network of Seminoles in our nation’s capital. Sixty years later, FSU is proud to have over 8,500 alumni in the DC metro area, and one of the most active alumni chapters outside of Florida.
Today, the Seminole Club of Greater Washington, D.C., affectionately known as DC Noles, celebrates this legacy with the launch of the DC Seminole Club Internship Fund. The fund provides financial support to FSU students interning in Washington, D.C., helping cover housing and living expenses. Open to students of all majors, it aims to make internships more accessible and foster future leaders in government, tech, nonprofits, hospitality and more.
A monthly gift of $19.65 for one year—or any amount—honors the club’s founders and supports the next generation of Seminoles.
The DC Seminole Club Internship Fund demonstrates the power of consistent support, as well as the enduring impact of donations made month to month, year by year, decade after decade. An internship is a foundational block for students wanting to build a career in Washington, D.C., and beyond.
Thank you for supporting FSU students as they take their first steps toward making an impact in our nation’s capital.
