Stoops Center for Communities, Families, and Children: Translating Research into Outcomes
The Stoops Center for Communities, Families, and Children at the FSU College of Social Work generates transformative knowledge that informs the development of effective policies, services and usable research to support communities, families and children globally. More than 18,000 individuals have gained new skills to live healthy, safe and productive lives through the center’s groundbreaking, research-driven programs that address substance use disorder, community resilience through disaster preparation, response and recovery and children’s mental health.
