The Maus Family Scholarship
The Maus Family Scholarship helps first-generation, economically disadvantaged students from Broward County engaged in FSU’s Center for Academic Retention and Enhancement. CARE recruits, motivates, prepares and supports first-generation college students as they navigate their unique challenges.
The scholarship was established by Joseph and Kristen Maus of Fort Lauderdale and honors the FSU legacy of the Maus family, including their children.

The family’s preference is for the scholarship recipient to benefit students from Broward County with the intention of helping future generations of Broward County residents.
