Human Development and Family Sciences 75th Anniversary
In the Fall of 2025, FSU celebrates 75 years of FSU’s programs in the Department of Human Development and Family Sciences at Florida State University.
The programs of the HDFS prepare students to meet the needs of Florida families as well as gain hands on experience through the Center for Couple and Family Therapy, which provides relational therapy and treats mental illness and family challenges for FSU and the Tallahassee community.
To celebrate this milestone, the department is working to build a $75,000 endowment with support from alumni and friends. A gift made today will help support the HDFS endowment, which will provide discretionary resources to support student scholarships, internship placements, program growth, the HDFS seminar series, and other opportunities that directly benefit our students and programs.
