John W. Kelly Memorial Scholarship

The Dedman College of Hospitality lost a great friend in John W. Kelly. John had a successful career in the hospitality industry; most recently he managed the DoubleTree Hotel in Tallahassee, Florida where he was affectionately referred to as the "Cookie King".

John had a passion for Florida State University where he previously taught an introduction to hospitality course and attended many Seminole sporting events. He made sure to take a personal interest in each student he worked with, and helped mentor them both personally and professionally. John is responsible for launching several successful careers, and for that we are grateful for his partnership.

Friends and family can help honor John's memory and commitment by supporting the John W. Kelly Memorial Scholarship.
