Pat Pallentino Sales Program Endowment for Excellence

Dear Alumni and Friends,

As you may have heard, we lost Pat Pallentino (Rockwood School of Marketing) after a valiant, multi-year battle with prostate cancer. In typical Pat fashion, he taught and mentored students until the end. Pat was the visionary architect behind our Professional Sales program—clearly the top program in the nation. He founded the International Collegiate Sales Competition, the largest of its kind in the world, and won it on several occasions. He trained and mentored countless students—forever changing their lives. He was a tireless champion for the program and the college. He was a dedicated Tallahassee Rotarian. He loved scuba diving in Bonaire. He deeply loved his wife, Julia. He was a loving husband and family man. He was Pat … the Godfather of Sales … and there will never be another like him.

The Pat Pallentino Sales Program Endowment for Excellence provides much-needed support to the Sales Program. This endowment awards scholarships to at least one top sales student each semester, it also provides stipends for the Sales team and supports the Sales Director's position.
