Dr. Edward G. Gray Endowment for Undergraduate Exploratory Research
The Dr. Edward G. Gray Endowment for Undergraduate Exploratory Research supports undergraduate students in the Department of History, particularly Honors students majoring in American/U.S. History. Awarded students shall conduct relevant research or partake in additional training for their undergraduate theses through documentary, biographical, oral history and archival methods, language training, related travel and more.
In honor of Dr. Edward G. Gray, The Dr. Edward G. Gray Endowment for Undergraduate Exploratory Research will serve as a lasting tribute to Edward’s commitment to the philosophy that “the study of History is at its roots an imaginative and creative endeavor to understand the past.”
