Middle Eastern Engineers of Tomorrow (MEET)
The Middle Eastern Engineers of Tomorrow (MEET) is a student-led organization at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering dedicated to developing community outreach and fostering professional and academic growth for aspiring engineers.
Some events hosted by MEET include:
- Guest speaker events from industry professionals, including engineers from companies such as Proctor and Gamble(P&G) and JTEKT
- Academic events such as an Arduino workshop providing incoming engineers with hands-on experience with Arduino programming
- Social events such as a bowling night and a pickleball fundraiser for GriP (Generational Relief in Prosthetics)
- Upcoming tour to JTEKT in Cairo, Georgia, offering members an inside look at a leading bearing manufacturing facility, where they will learn about the modern engineering process and industry practices
